The application process for the University of the Heart is conducted online. After you complete your online application, you will receive an email confirming that it has been successfully received.
When your application has been reviewed, the Registrar will contact you to schedule an online interview. After interviewing with the Registrar, qualified candidates will receive an interview with the Chancellor.
Early admission is currently open and ends on June 7th. For students who are admitted early, mentoring sessions are given at no additional charge until the program begins. Regular admission to the program ends on July 5th.
Each year’s class size is limited to approximately 20 students due to the high degree of interaction and personal attention. Therefor the admission process for each class is selective and applying early is recommended.
The university program starts with the Embarkation, in Tucson, Arizona, USA. This four-day residency coincides with the end of the 12-day Residency for the previous two classes of iamU and includes the inspiring presentations of the final projects of each member of the graduating class. At the Embarkation you wil meet your class-mates, with whom you will study and meditate for the next two years.
The first course starts in September, online, with weekly video conferences. You will interact perhaps daily, at least weekly, with your class-mates and teachers through our custom Learning Management System online.
Your next in-person meeting is in November, in Sedona, Arizona, for a five-day retreat with Susanna and Puran Bair. Three more online courses begin in January and finish just before the annual, 12-day Residency in Tucson.
See the iamU Schedule for more details.
